The course "International Business" aims to provide students with fundamental knowledge of international business, forms of international business, factors affecting international business activities such as globalization and cultural, economic and political differences between countries; international business strategies, organizational structures and market entry methods for enterprises to compete in foreign markets successfully; knowledge of managing functional activities of enterprises in a dynamic business environment. The course also helps students develop analytical skills, critical thinking, independent working skills, teamwork skills, communication and presentation skills to adapt to the international business environment. In addition, students also develop personal development skills through self-study, self-research, entrepreneurial spirit and business ethics.

Here are the course learning outcomes:

1. Knowledge

  • Present the concept and forms of international business in the era of globalization;
  • Distinguish international business environments and country differences that affect the business activities of enterprises;
  • Apply knowledge of international business strategies, organizational structures, and market entry modes in the process of selecting suitable strategies, organizational structures, and market entry modes for international businesses;
  • Utilize knowledge of managing functional activities in international business within the context of a constantly changing business environment.

 2. Skills

  • Practice the skills of choosing business strategies, market penetration methods and organizational structures suitable to the characteristics of the business and the market to penetrate;
  • Interpret communication, teamwork, presentation, discussion, and debate skills in an international integration environment.

3. Self-reliance and self-responsibility

  • Develop a spirit of self-study, self-research, entrepreneurial spirit and awareness of business ethics
